12" Arc Locking Brass Extension Arms

Our Arc Locking Extension Arms are the latest design in our locking type extension arms. Gracefully curved shower head extension arms that hold amost any shower head without drooping. Like our standard locking extension arms, the Arc arm locks into place. They must be loosened and re-tightened every time you move the shower head up or down. This should be done with the water turned off. We do not recommend this extension arm except for heavy duty shower heads or in cases of where you will not be adjusting the height of the shower head often.

The Arc Locking Extension Arm is easily installed on your standard 1/2" shower pipe or pipe nipple. Simply unscrew the locking collor and remove the splined fitting. Wrap your shower pipe or pipe nipple with 5 or more wraps of Teflon plumbers take and hand tighten the splined fitting. Do not use tools! The Arc arm is then easily secured to the splined fitting with the locking collar again without tools.
In the above photo, you can see exploded view of the locking mechanism used in the Arc Locking shower Head Extension Arm. Not, the use of o-ring seals used to help prevent leaks. Warning!! - attempting to move the Arc arm without first loosening the joint will cause damage to the arm.

Extension arms are made out of brass. Brass is not a hard metal or steel. If you try and tighten an extension arm using the arm as a wrench or lever, it will bend. We hand inspect every extension arm we send out and package them carefully to prevent shipping damage. Bend arms are not returnable for exchange or refund. No exceptions!
